Today is a Swiss national day. A lot of Swiss red flags and crosses around, barbeques, fires and fireworks in every village and town.

Pink geraniums (Pelargonium)

It's mid-summer and I did not post new photos for a looooong time although I am still shooting... Will try to improve.

Here is a pretty pink geranium flower (Pelargonium) also commonly known as storksbills. There are many, many of them here in Switzerland almost in each garden, fountain, balcony. Great flower!

Autumn colour splash - Beech (Fagus sylvatica) leaves

Yesterday was a wonderful autumn day: bright sun, crispy blue sky and autumn colours of nature. I decided to take a walk in the near by forest reserve with my camera. It was fantastic splash of bright colours. You will see more here...

Autumn forest

This wonderful forest is just steps away from the place I live. Everything is so close in Switzerland. I really enjoy walks through this forest along a small river. This photo was taken last week-end.
